Engagements are described here by sector and geography. Client names, reports and figures are released only with the client's written agreement — which is available on request where a reference is needed for a tender or finance application.

Method

How the work is run

  • Scope against the decision, not the deliverable. An assessment exists to make a commitment defensible. We start from the decision the client is about to take and work back to the studies that actually bear on it, rather than producing a volume that satisfies a template.
  • Desk and remote work first, field work to confirm. Imagery, terrain and soils data narrow the question before anyone mobilises. Field survey is expensive and slow; it should verify a design, not originate one.
  • Findings are reported when they are found. A fertility result that changes the development case for a block is raised immediately, not held for the final report. Clients have restructured plans on the strength of an interim finding and been better off for it.
  • Tooling is handed over, not rented back. Schedules, trackers and reporting packs are built in formats the client's own team can keep running, and the training to run them is part of the engagement.
  • The software behind it is ours. Mapping, index analysis and dossier assembly run on tools Intwasa builds and maintains, so a bespoke analysis is a configuration rather than a new project.
